Abby Lavigne is delighted to return to Sage for her second year as a counselor and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the wellness team. Abby holds a Master's degree in Social Work from New Mexico Highlands University, as well as an MBA (also from NMHU). Most recently, Abby worked as a mental health counselor at the Oliverian School in New Hampshire. In her free time, Abby enjoys coaching softball and traveling with her vintage camper. Alan Deangelis
P.E./Health
Alan DeAngelis is the Physical Education teacher for grades preK-8 and the Health teacher for the Junior Division at The Sage School. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education preK-8 from Bridgewater State University. He recently completed his Master's Program in Sports and Health Sciences with a concentration in Exercise Science and Human Performance from American Military University. Alan supervises the Cross Country afterschool program in the fall. He is the director of a summer recreation program and the JV basketball coach at his old high school. Susan Siegel
Nurse
Susan Siegel, Registered Nurse, joined the Sage community in August of 2013. She received her BS in Nursing from the University of New Hampshire and has completed numerous graduated courses at Northeastern and Boston University. She has an extensive background as a Cardiovascular Nurse practicing at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston where she held the position of Clinical Advisor. Susan has published articles in professional nursing journals. Considered an expert in her field, she worked as a Medical Malpractice Consultant as well as a Nursing Consultant for hospital processes and procedures for a global consulting firm. Susan spends a lot of time with her husband and kids traveling for their many sporting evens. She loves animals, kayaking, hiking and contemporary art. She volunteers with her great dane, a registered therapy dog, visiting adults and children who benefit from the stress relief of animal interaction.
