During this first edition, the students will learn proper shooting technique as well as basic rules of how to play basketball. Activities focusing on dribbling, shooting, and passing will be utilized throughout the unit to ensure that the students are properly prepared to play in modified games. By completing these small practice tasks, the students will learn about the rules of the game as well. These rules include double dribbling and traveling.
