Gymnastics
description
The Gymnastics unit in the Junior Division is the second edition of the unit completed by the students when they were in the Prime Division. Skills such as rolling, jumping, balancing, and weight transfers will be taken to a whole other level now that the kids are older. The students will get a chance to learn about other concepts, such as vaulting, which requires them to jump over objects. Students will be challenged physically as they attempt to progress through this unit. Students will also learn about the necessary safety precautions of each movement and will be made aware of how to spot their classmates when completing more complex activities.
