pillow polo
description
Pillow Polo is a fun game very similar to sports such as ice hockey. It is a fast paced sport that encourages constant moving and teamwork. Players work together to defend their goal while attempting to gain possession of the ball to try to score on the opposing team's goal. Players used sticks that look like big Q-tips. The hitting end of the stick consists of one large foam piece. This not only helps to protect the floor, but it also protects the players from getting injured from an ill-advised swing.
Before the students start participating in full games, they will learn how to manipulate the ball with the stick. Due to the fact that the stick is a different shape than a hockey stick, it can take some getting use to. The striking part of the stick is round so it can definitely make for some interesting passes.
